Peace Demonstration at Capitol Draws Children and Protests

In Sacramento on Thursday May 28 1970 about 200 picnickers including children with colorful balloons and college students rallied for peace and for bills banning Californians from being drafted to undeclared wars. The hearing room heard Assemblymen Vasconcellos and Greene present similar antiwar measures, with no vote until June 17. An attorney opposed the bills arguing they are unconstitutional.

Cabrillo High School honors seniors with broad awards list

Cabrillo High School celebrated its seniors with numerous honors across academics athletics and service.
