Nixon Admin asks Congress to raise debt ceiling by $8 billion
The Nixon administration urged Congress to lift the national debt limit to 395 billion dollars, saying lower tax receipts worsened the budget. Five killed in head-on crash near Ojai California 33
A northbound car crossed the center line on California 33 and struck a heavy truck, killing five occupants including Norman Ray Hamblin 21 and Denise Hedlund 13 of New Cuyama.
