California to form energy commission to ration power
Sacramento reports Assembly Speaker Moretti and Assemblyman Warren unveiled a plan to create a five member State Energy Resources Conservation Commission with authority to ration electricity in emergencies, certify power plant sites, regulate efficiency, conduct research, tax energy use, and expand geothermal and solar energy. The bill warns brownouts could begin within four to six years if not acted.

City Beautification Fund Itemization Reveals Spending
Since July 1972 the City Beautification Commission has used donated funds totaling 2024.69 for several projects.
