Hearst Takes News Of Daughter Charge Hard

Randolph A Hearst sat in stunned silence after learning daughter Patricia 20 would be charged with violation of federal automatic weapon laws. Family spokesman John Lester said Hearst is taking it very hard as twists continue 105 days into the case. Mrs Hearst is relieved her daughter's body was not among six found at the Symbionese Liberation Army hideout.

Candle Blamed For West Side Lompoc Fire At Home

Lompoc fire officials say a candle overturned in a rear bedroom and caused a 14500 dollar blaze at the home of Mrs. Judith Liberum on 1512 West Airport Avenue. No injuries occurred though four Liberum children and a neighborhood friend were present. Fire under investigation. County fire officials also blamed children for a small grass fire behind Los Berros School, 60 by 60 feet, with no damage.
