Camp Gets Prison in Guadalupe Bribery Case
Walter R. Camp former police chief of Guadalupe was sentenced by Superior Court Judge Floyd Dodson to two concurrent 14 year terms after a jury conviction on two bribery counts totaling 600 dollars. Camp served 26 years as Guadalupe's top officer and was arrested January 22 following an undercover probe involving a sheriff’s deputy posing as a bookmaker.
