BSP Xi Lambda Iota Confers Two Degrees At Lompoc Library
The Xi Lambda Iota Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi held formal ceremonies in the Lompoc Library multipurpose room. The exemplar degree was presided by Mrs. Frank Paulin with aides Donald Kane and Harold Couch. Members Jerry Long Vic Morgan Lee Riddiough and others received degrees forming a new exemplar chapter. The Order of the Rose honored Mrs. John Davison for 15 active years. Xi Lambda Iota officers for the coming year were installed by Mrs. Paulin, with Bill Sumter named president and other officers pledged. Refreshments followed for 50 members from five sorority chapters.

Lompoc Community Woman's Club Plans May Activities
A two way program will be that of Lompoc Community Woman's Club this Wednesday at the Golden Greek Restaurant. Lompoc Junior High talent show directed by Mrs. James Lowe entertains members. Installation of officers for 1969 70 will be held. A tour of two Santa Ynez Valley homes May 22 for the garden section and guests. A luncheon at Mattie's Tavern closes the day.
