Braves overpower Saints in six two win at Elk's Field

In a six run second inning the Braves beat the Saints 6-2 at Elk's Field. Johnny Rodriguez earned the win over Saint starter Bob Edie who lasted only an inning and two outs. Fridrich and Hain drove in key runs as Lompoc seized the early lead.

Boyer Dominates Tigers as Congs Rally for Early Lead

Boyer shut down San Luis leadoff threats and beat out an infield single in the first and second, later walking in the fifth as he stifled the Tigers. Cabrillo High Honors Basketball Seniors and All-League Members

Cabrillo High School distributed year end basketball awards with Rich Perrelli earning the Most Valuable Senior trophy and C A Anderson named Most Inspirational Senior. Hancock spikers take second in tri meet performance

Six lifetime bests lift Hancock College to 41 points for second behind Moorpark at a Ventura triangular meet. Ron Vogt won the three mile in 17 59.8 and was third in the mile. Walter Norton and Chris McDonald led a 1 2 in the 440. Drouin and Budd swept pole vault, and Cecil Gordon won the 120 yard high hurdles in 16.4.
