Bridge League Officers Named for Lompoc-Vandenberg Unit

Newly elected officers of the Lompoc-Vandenberg Unit 528 American Contract Bridge League include Marvin Stoor as president Lyle Holloway as vice president Cynthia Cowdrey as secretary treasurer and business manager. Chairs are Hope Howard Wally Lowry Sue Helmuth Jo Gowenlock with Herb Kanner and Donna Swinnen on the board. Regular games are at the Alpha Clubhouse Thursdays at 7 30 p m Sundays at 7 p m and Mondays at 1 p m.

Taste of Arts planned by Lumen Vitae League

An arts event titled A Taste of the Arts will run April 6 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Building. It features exhibitions in leathercraft painting rug design pottery and more with refreshments and prizes. Donation is 2 dollars and a turquoise ring from Lou and Bebe Rubinstein’s Treasures collection will be shown.

Rainbow Girls from Lompoc Assembly 106 will gather in shopping areas for a Lily Day sale to support the Easter Seal Society. Donations via mail and in person fund medical care therapy and rehabilitation for disabled residents in Santa Barbara County.
