County Environmental Quality Office to open by May 1
The County Office of Environmental Quality will be set up by May 1 in the County Administration Building with five staff led by an environmental quality coordinator. It will occupy the fourth floor, replacing the public guardian’s space, and will require 16418 dollars through June 30. A new fee schedule will add 150 dollars per environmental impact report and 50 dollars per negative declaration. Recruitment is underway for a coordinator, two environmental specialists, and two clerical workers.

California adds occupational education program to loan grants
