POWs Freed In Hanoi As Lompoc Meat Boycott Grows
The last 32 American prisoners of war held by the Viet Cong were freed in Hanoi marking the first phase of a three day operation to clear Indochina prisons. In Lompoc a FIT chapter organized to push a meat boycott, distribute fliers, write to congressmen and canvass neighborhoods to protest high meat prices.
