Rocking Squares Dance Club Friday Session at Hall
The Rocking Squares Dance Club will meet Friday at the Chemical Workers Union Hall for a regular dance with round dancing between tips from 8 to 10 30 p.m. Dancers are invited to join the weekly event. Thieves stole 680 dollars of linens from Loops Motel on No H Street Tuesday night mirroring a March theft at the same motel in Lompoc. The loss included sheets pillowcases washcloths blankets and bedspreads. The previous theft involved 416 dollars in linens from closets.

Hungry i club auction date set for Good Friday
The Hungry I night club in San Francisco, closed on St Patrick's Day, may be auctioned on Good Friday to raise 23 381 in delinquent withholding taxes. Items including liquor license seats and bar equipment will be sold. Enrico Banducci did not comment but associates say he is trying to raise the funds. Banducci founded the original Hungry I in North Beach and helped launch Mort Sahl Lenny Bruce and the Kingston Trio.

County plans revoke use permit for Edison substation

Obituaries for Albert S. Henning and Minnie McDonald
Albert S. Henning of Lompoc died Tuesday in West Fork Arkansas at age 66. Funeral services are planned this week. he served at Johns Manville and was active in Forest of America and Boy Scouts. survived by Blanche his widow and four sisters and five daughters. Minnie McDonald, 101, died Wednesday at Lompoc District Hospital. Graveside services are set for 10 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery. she was born in Salem Indiana in 1868 and lived on Sweeney Road with her husband Donald until his 1937 death. she leaves a daughter Zena and two sons plus many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
