Pacific Conservatory offers tickets for Solvang theater season
The Solvang Festival Theater box office opened for the 1976 Pacific Conservatory season with Candide as the opener on July 17. Tickets include reserved seating, prices 100 50 and 25, plus cheese and wine events and post show parties. Special subscription plans cover five productions in Solvang or Santa Maria with prices 14 16 and 18. Tickets can be ordered at 688-7688 in Solvang.

Hearing date set on revocation of Santa Ynez Ranch School permit
The Board of Supervisors schedules Monday August 23 at 2 p m for an appeal hearing on revoking the conditional use permit for Santa Ynez Ranch School near Santa Ynez. The hearing will be in Santa Barbara County Administration Building and a fee waiver request was denied. Derville Academy had operated on Baseline Ave east of Highway 154, concerns over youths in satellite homes sparked protests from area residents.

Low bid rejected on bonds for Los Olivos School District
Security Pacific National Bank was not the lowest bidder for $140,000 in general obligation bonds. City Pacific won with 5.56 percent and $45,360 in interest cost after Santa Barbara National Bank’s 5.10 percent bid and $41,145 cost were rejected upon review by County officials.
