Disposal system pros and cons aired at public hearing
The Santa Ynez Community Services District weighs two viable best project alternatives for a sanitary disposal system. One plans an interceptor to SMID’s treatment plant with a joint facilities approach, the other a 12 inch gravity interceptor to a SYCSD managed plant near the Santa Ynez River. The EIR notes funding, tribal approval, and high school wastewater needs, with copies available at Solvang and Santa Ynez libraries and the district office.
