Vandenberg Village School Staff Moves and Activities

Principal Wyland Fuller leaves La Mesa for Loma Vista at VAFB and Tom Love becomes dean. Cabrillo welcomes Love after five years as dean and principal, with Lompoe Junior High tenure noted. La Mesa loses five teachers to growth, retirements, and a Turkey tour. Summer posts at Cabrillo and district volunteers fill gaps as students enjoy a year end talent show, track day, and campfire activities with Blue Bird and Camp Fire Girls groups.

Cadette Troop 157 hosts a mother daughter tea in May giftings include green angel awards to Mrs. Beckett and Mrs. Broman and a silver charm bracelet for Mrs. Hinson. June 8 bridges Junior girls from Troops 146 and 160 into Cadettes and a reception follows.
