Jet explodes over Pleiku in Cathay Pacific disaster
A Cathay Pacific Convair 880 with 81 aboard including 17 Americans exploded in flight over South Vietnam’s Central Highlands and crashed on a jungle plateau 30 miles south of Pleiku.
