Two Beaufort men jailed on drug charges after traffic stop
South Carolina residents Fred Emerson Basemore Jr. and Thomas Cleveland Tucker were jailed in Lompoc after a routine stop at Burton Mesa Boulevard and Sirius Avenue. Funeral services pending for Manuel Alexander
Manuel Alexander, 66, died this morning at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara. Starbuck Mortuary has pending arrangements. Rosary for Teresa A. Terrones, 69, will be recited tonight at 9 at La Purisima Church. Funeral Mass tomorrow at 8 a.m. with Rev. Andrew McGrath. Interment at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Terrones, born 1905 in Mexico, died Thursday at Lompoc District Hospital after a short illness. She was a Lompoc resident since 1925, surviving husband Albert H. Terrones of 406 South L St. Further survive four daughters, four sons, four brothers, four sisters, 25 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements by Starbuck Mortuary.
