SB567 would form a labor agency to replace Employment Development and Industrial Relations, targeting a July 1 1978 start with a budget near 2.6 billion dollars.

California panel approves six year phase-out of inventory tax
The Senate Finance Committee approved SB443 to phase out business inventory tax over six years to improve California's business climate.
