Rainy June Delivers Rare Inches in Lompoc and Santa Ynez
Storms dropped a fractional inch of rain across Lompoc and Santa Ynez Valleys, marking one of the few June showers on record. Burpee Farms in Lompoc reported it as the 11th June rain since 1913, with about a tenth of an inch in Santa Ynez and slightly more in Lompoc. Clouds lingered with patches of sun returning today.
