Lompoc Teacher to Attend National Summer Institute
Lompoc High School instructor Gus Peterson will join seven other institutes in the United States for a six week Institute in International Affairs. The program runs June 16 through July 25 at Colorado College in Colorado Springs under the theme Comparative Systems in a World Setting. Peterson, 41, has taught since 1963 at Lompoc High School and since 1965 at Allan Hancock Junior College. He holds a BA from the University of New Mexico and an MA in school administration from UNM. He is married with three children and lives at 812 E. Cherry.
