British Imperial Defense College Visits Vandenberg Tour

Eighteen members of the British Imperial Defense College toured Vandenberg AFB facilities including Titan II and Minuteman sites and Space and Missile Test Center ranges. Led by Maj. Gen. Garland, the group met Dr. Kissinger at the White House and met officials in New York, Houston, and Colorado Springs during a U S study tour with discussions on civic and defense affairs.

Bomb explodes in Oakland police lobby injures none

Youth riders to compete at all youth show in Lompoc

California youths shifted from marijuana to dangerous drugs in 1969. Attorney General Thomas C. Lynch cited a Justice Department report showing 16,180 juveniles arrested for marijuana offenses, down 14.8 percent, while 17,595 were arrested for dangerous drugs offenses, up 58.9 percent.
