NBC TV plans staggered fall start after writers strike
NBC TV will begin its new fall season on September 10 but will air series on a staggered basis due to lingering production delays from the writers strike. Some shows may launch one to three weeks late while specials and films fill gaps. The network also plans a September 15 Democratic National Committee telethon and an August 28 documentary on defensive medicine and malpractice costs.
