Ex-convict sentenced for Santa Barbara detective murder
Bruce Walter Bowersox, a 33 year old ex convict, was sentenced to death by Santa Barbara Superior Court for the January 13 murder of Detective Thomas Guerry. His brother Frank, 24, was sentenced to life imprisonment after also being convicted of first degree murder. The case will be appealed to the State Supreme Court.
