Baseball at court over Curt Flood reserve clause

Flood, a St Louis Cardinals star, contends he should negotiate his services with other clubs while baseball asserts the clause has sustained the game for 50 years and must be honored. The dispute centers on whether Flood must play for the Phillies in 1970 or be free to offer his services elsewhere.
