Braves use zone defense to top Cabrillo in county league clash

Lompoc Braves beat Cabrillo 71 60 at Braves gym to earn their first Santa Barbara County League win. Don Nelson pivoted to a zone defense, limiting Cabrillo’s outside shooting as Fridrich led with 19 points and Thomas added 16. Cabrillo’s Tim O’Brien had 23 points but shot poorly, while Lompoc rebounded strongly 45 31 and sealed the win with late free throws.

Doubell Near World Records After 1000-Yard Run
