Westside 4 H Club Hosts Fundraiser and Fiesta
Westside 4 H Club in La Canada School hosts Becky Grasser from March of Dimes speaking on birth defect prevention funds. The club schedules a Foods Fiesta at Solvang Veterans Hall on Feb 2 from 10 am to noon with demonstrations and refreshments. Retiring master councilor is Kenneth McCarthy. DeMolays invite dinner guests from Miguelito Chapter Order of Eastern Star next Tuesday at 6 PM. Basketball begins February 3. Mark Baker received the chevalier degree during a recent ceremony with Dad John W. Paulsen presenting certificates and Dad Ralph White receiving the cross of honor from Gene Davis.
