Council hears report on unsightly properties

County considers redistricting as Board urges committee revival

The Board of Supervisors on Tuesday urged reactivating a special redistricting panel to study boundary changes before the 1974 election. Daniel G. Grant proposed shifting Hope Ranch to the Second District and reassigning Orcutt and Buellton between Fourth and Fifth Districts, while Curtis Tunnell urged caution on practicality.

Obituaries for Fred Line and Bonazzola in Lompoc area

Funeral services are pending for Fred Line 51 who died at Lompoc District Hospital. Rosary tonight at Starbuck Mortuary Chapel mass tomorrow at La Purisima Church. Infant Adolpho Ochoa is also noted with services in Lompoc. Bonazzola died after brief illness in Santa Barbara with services tonight and mass Thursday. Survivors include Carolina and multiple children and grandchildren. Lee Landsberg Funeral held in Los Angeles. Landsberg resided in Mission Hills with several daughters and family survivors.

Lompoc Council Names Members to City Committees

The Lompoc City Council appointed seven people to three city committees after an executive session. Rennie L. Adam replaces Jim Ellis on the Architectural Review Committee and Ray Ruh replaces Lawrence McManis on the Building Appeals Board. Ellis resigned. McManis moved from the city. Harley Craig Jim Hernandez Ray Williams George Johnson and Pete Round were named to the City Advisory Committee for the County-wide Transportation plan.
