Talent to aid Project Amigo at Los Berros School

The Los Berros Elementary talent show becomes Project Amigo to raise funds for a Mexican school classroom. Central Coast Section of the California Elementary School Administrators Association sponsors. fourth to sixth graders perform Monday at 7 30 p.m. in the school cafetorium. Proceeds go to Project Amigo with 25 cent donations at door. Supervisors and local radio staff will judge. prizes awarded Monday evening. David Manship guides sixth graders.

Lompoc Jr. Optimist Club Forms For School Service

Lompoc Junior Optimist Club organized last November under Lompoc Optimists plans service to school and community. Ten eighth graders form the group with ten more seventh graders joining next week. officers include Joe Barthel president and Mike Terrone vice president.

High School Seniors Win Betty Crocker Homemaker Honors

Janelle Stueck of Lompoc High and Lilian Ruth Prew of Cabrillo High were named 1969 Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow for their schools. Each receives a silver charm and eligibility for state and national scholarships. Stueck plans to study English and Prew aims for social work while both gain homemaking knowledge.

Lompoc Recreation Dept Offers Cake Decorating Class

The Lompoc Recreation Department announces a beginning cake decorating class starting Monday night in the administration room at 105 S. C St. from 7 to 9 p.m. The six week course costs $5 with pre registration at the recreation office. call 6-1261 Extension 51 for details. Bridge instruction follows on Wednesday March 5 at 7 p.m. with a $10 fee and pre registration required.
