After months of talks management and Local 1001 union leaders signed a contract at Vandenberg Air Force Base. Col. Robert Ray and Marie Brogan announced the agreement granting exclusive recognition to Local 1001 representing about 1400 general service and wage board employees with negotiated grievances procedures and on base union office space.
