California to distribute over 75 million to cities counties
More than 75 million dollars from local sales and use tax funds will be distributed this week to California cities and counties. Cities receive 50.2 million, counties 7.7 million, with 13.7 million from county local transportation funds. BART districts gain 3.5 million from an additional 2 percent tax. Lompoc gets 50 thousand. San Francisco Bay Area and Santa Barbara County allocations noted.
