City entry sign plan shifted to new corner in Lompoc
Beautification Commission discussed moving the proposed city entry sign from the southwest corner of Highway 1 and 246 to the northwest corner across Highway 246. The 14 foot long sign, designed by Architectural Arts, would cost about 2000 dollars plus landscaping. Private ownership of the new site and future highway widening on 246 complicate installation.
