Los Berros PTA to Honor Member with HLM Award

Los Berros School PTA will award an honorary life membership tonight to a deserving and active member. Members meet at 7 30 in the school cafetorium for officer elections and an information program. A film LSD 25 will be shown followed by a Q and A with a medical doctor in charge. Lois Berros Band performs with Clyde Davis directing and refreshments afterward.

Floresta 4-H Parents’ Night Recap and Upcoming Events

Floresta 4-H held Parents’ Night February 10 at the Grange Hall with acting president Mrs. Lee Valla and secretary Mrs. Louis Cagianut and treasurer Mrs. Harold George. Members performed songs and a horse care skit while Ruth Ann Manseau reported on the March of Dimes drive. Friends of Library seek donations for new books

Anonymous donors contribute 75 dollars to boost the Friends of the Library drive to fund new books for a growing collection. Mrs. John Holm notes 7,000 books are in storage and a move to larger quarters will allow about 40,000 volumes, with bookplates in honor of donors.
