Russia seeks U S jet plant bid from three firms

Nixon tapes may prejudice future Watergate cases

Aerojet gets $25 million shuttle engine contract

Aerojet Liquid Rocket Co of Sacramento won a $25 million contract to design and produce the orbital maneuvering system engines for the space shuttle orbiter. Rockwell International Space Division announced the selection and will integrate the system for NASA.

Retirement Announced by Santa Barbara County Official

John E. Fabyanich, director of the Santa Barbara County Department of Resources and Collections, states he will retire effective May 1 after citing growing complexities and workload as reasons. In a board of supervisors meeting he warned continued service under current conditions could be detrimental to his health. An all day university extension course New Directions for Women will be held Saturday at Odd Fellows Hall, 106% W. Ocean Ave, with a $20 fee. The course runs from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and students should bring a sack lunch.
