Four Brink's drivers lock key in armored truck

In Detroit four Brink's drivers locked their only key inside the cab using a bent hanger and a pen knife. They gained entry to the front after a guard arrived with a spare key. The crew had lunch with the truck apparently moneyless.

County conference on drug problems scheduled

Buellton group seeks county signs to guide motorists

The Buellton Businessmen’s Assn. asks the Board of Supervisors to permit two county owned sign structures for Buellton. Lagomarsino Outlines Reagan Tax Reform and Budget

Senator Lagomarsino spoke to Channel Division of the League of California Cities in Santa Maria about Governor Reagan's tax reform plan and the 1970 71 fiscal budget. He covered environmental control open space legislation and shore line preservation and discussed his role on the Water Wildlife and Natural Resources committee. Police solve five burglaries in Lompoc youths arrested

Lompoc police report five burglaries or thefts solved with the arrest of two local youths aged 16 and 17. Both suspects admitted the crimes and were turned over to juvenile probation. The investigation began in mid January and covered incidents on January 17 into January 18, including thefts at Sunset Chevrolet and Beattie Motors and a burglary at Sunset Chevrolet.
