Ex-convict held in rampage rapes and stabbings in Tuskegee

Woman crucifixion ends peaceful world gesture in Santo Domingo

In Santo Domingo, 31 year old wife of self styled yogi Patrick Tamao ends a 52 hour crucifixion ordeal as sacrifice for world peace. Doctors say she is pale but in good condition after removal from the cross. Tamao himself endured a crucifixion for 20 hours but was released due to foot infection.

Agnew in Singapore to explain U.S. policy

Vice President Spiro T. Agnew met with Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew in Singapore to outline U.S. Asia policy after the Indochina war. They planned to discuss the U.S. regional role in the postwar period as Agnew tours Southeast Asia. He arrives after visits to South Vietnam Cambodia Thailand and Laos and will visit Indonesia Malaysia and the Philippines.

Weekend violence pushes Northern Ireland toward civil war
