A Gilbert Youth Research poll finds 51 percent of youths aged 14 to 25 believe violence on screen has little effect on the public 7 percent caveat that well adjusted individuals remain unaffected 23 percent want less violence shown and some call for clearer context or explanation of violent scenes.
