Brumby rocking chairs make a comeback in Georgia
In Marietta Georgia Carole Melson revived the Brumby rocker once built by mountain craftsmen. The 32 pound red oak chair reemerged after her husband Frank died. She rebuilt the plant at Kennesaw Mountain, hired old workers, and now produces about 200 rockers monthly selling for 112 to 120 dollars.
