The Delinger Reward Fund has reached 200 dollars to reward tips leading to the conviction of those who threw sulfuric acid on three show dogs owned by Lompoc High School teacher Larry Delinger. Donations can be sent to P.O. Box 899, Lompoc. The dogs a Great Dane and two miniature wirehaired Dachshunds suffered acid burns but are expected to recover with permanent scars and disqualification from shows.

Drug Free Zone Set for Florida Festival

County sets budget calendar for 1970 71 fiscal year
Lompoc officials will start the 1970 71 county budget process after Christmas. Administrative Officer Raymond D Johnson asks the Board of Supervisors to approve a calendar beginning January 16 with budget request forms and revenue estimates sent to department heads.
