The Nixon administration lifts most of the 19 year U S trade embargo on Communist China in a three point liberalization plan. Foreign subsidiaries may trade nonstrategic goods with Mainland China and Hong Kong markets, U S tourists may buy up to 100 in Chinese goods, and museums universities and collectors may import Mainland Chinese goods for personal use. Computers to track Santa Claus at three bases on Christmas Eve
Space age computers will track Santa Claus from the North Pole. ITT Arctic Service and ITT Federal Electric will operate radar data for the Air Force Western Test Range to relay Santa’s position altitude speed and route to residents at Vandenberg AFB Santa Maria and Lompoc.
