Exalted Ruler Ron Williams of Lompoc Elks Lodge No. 2274 announces the Most Valuable Student contest offering 1094 awards totaling 808800 dollars with prizes from 600 to 3000 per year for four years. California and Hawaii involve 140 national awards plus 34 district awards of 125 each and top state judges receive 500 300 and 200 for first second and third. Local lodge adds 900 to area winners.
