Reinecke Calls For Repeal Of Self Reapportionment Power

Mother loses baby to snowstorm in Idaho wilderness

A barefoot mother along Mores Creek summit in a blizzard walked toward Idaho City with her infant then collapsed. Police later found her 8 month old son Andrew frozen to death in the snow while the older child Matthew, 3, survived in a car. The mother Wilma Lindsey, 26, was treated for exposure and frostbite.

David Sarnoff Dies at 80 Pioneer of Radio and TV

David Sarnoff, born in Russia and raised as a paperboy, died at age 80 in New York. He helped launch radio and television, rose to RCA chairman, retired in 1970 but remained honorary chairman until his death. Funeral services were planned after a rest at Frank E. Campbell.
