The Associated Student Body of Santa Ynez Valley High School sponsors its first dance for newcomers and freshmen on Friday night Sept 2 from 8 p.m. to midnight in the old gym. Music by the Music Machine and a Sunshine Co light show. Admission is $1.50 for high school students only. Refreshments sold. A beer clinic for cattle growers is planned Sept 9 at California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo the following day.
