Church School and child care are available at 9:30 a.m. A teacher training seminar runs Sunday and Thursday at 7:30 p.m. The pastor’s membership class meets Monday at 7:30 p.m. Summer choir rehearsal Thursday at 7:45 p.m. Gene Gumple directs.
Calvary Baptist Church will host pastor Wallis A. Turner to speak at the 11 a.m. service on the subject Our Great Worth and Our Equality before God. The service will be broadcast live over KNEZ. Pastor James M. Dahl will lead Youth Night at 6 p.m. with youth reporting on week-long outreach in Sacramento and Richmond.
Peace Lutheran youth address the 10:30 a.m. service with slides on Honduras Amigos program and Track Events in Europe. The Rev. William J. Denton returns to First Christian Church with a sermon on Active and Passive Belief. Holy Communion services and Sunday School activities fill the day.
