New Judge Approved for Santa Barbara County Court

Santa Barbara County will gain a seventh Superior Court judge next July to relieve the Santa Maria caseload under SB 484, approved 69-0 by the Assembly and headed to Governor Reagan for signature. The measure, coauthored by Assemblyman W Don MacGillivray, is endorsed by the Grand Jury and Board of Supervisors and supported by local bar associations. The county will fund new court and jail facilities in Santa Maria.

Indian Affairs Post Goes to Oglala Sioux Leader Bruce
