Lompoc FFA Scores Big at Santa Barbara County Fair
Lompoc FFA members earned many blue ribbons at the county fair. Ten of eleven steers, all fat lambs, and two of three hogs won awards, while Ag Mechanics entries swept firsts and top money. Karen Cagianui’s dairy heifer also placed high with a blue ribbon. Jim Beard won the Bruno award for hardest working member, receiving a leather belt with an FFA buckle at a celebratory barbecue.
