Trusting fellow held in Michigan slaying case

John Norman Collins 22, described as polite and shy, is charged with murdering Karen Sue Beineman, a Michigan EMU freshman. Beineman’s nude body was found in a gully after she vanished from a Ypsilanti wig shop. Police say Collins may be linked to six similar slayings in the Ann Arbor Ypsilanti area.
