Judges discuss travel plans for county officials
Superior Court judges won Board of Supervisors approval for a 206 travel expense to attend a workshop in Los Angeles on May 1. The group will travel in one car after debate over using two cars and a plane. They report private flight saves time and money given limited airline service. Budget shows 297 left for travel this year. In Santa Maria, a dairy princess for District 10 will be chosen May 5 at the Santa Maria Club, with three contestants and a panel including Karen White and Bernard Lake.
