Mrs. Burchardi widow of Hermann Burchardi and longtime Santa Ynez dairyman died Sunday night at Santa Ynez Valley Hospital after a lingering illness. Born January 28, 1901 in Arcata she moved to Solvang in 1912 and helped lead local civic and farm groups. She is survived by a son Harlen, a sister and a brother and four grandchildren. Visitation today at Paaske's Funeral Chapel.
