Valley Club Manager to Visit Austria on Two-Week Trip
Fred Rebersky, longtime manager and bookkeeper for the Lompoc Valley Club, a Vienna-born concert violinist and former Radio Orchestra of Vienna member, sails May 7 for a two-week homeward trip to Austria. He has lived in Lompoc eight years and will return May 24. Rebersky, born 1903 in Vienna, survived both world wars as a musician and worker, later immigrating to the United States with sponsorship from relatives. He is a tri-lingual bachelor who expects to revisit Vienna landmarks and family in his homeland.
