U.S. Jet Bombers Hit North Vietnam and Laos SAM Sites

U.S. Air Force F105 Thunderchiefs using Wild Weasel radar gear fired Shrike missiles at SAM2 sites 25 miles northeast of Mu Gia Pass in North Vietnam and 30 miles northwest of Mu Gia Pass in Laos after radar lock warnings. It was unclear if the installations were destroyed.

Dead suspect in officer shooting found high on drugs

Santa Maria detectives report amphetamine tests on the deceased 22 year old Selma youth show a strong positive reaction. Juvenile Pair Detained in Cherry Avenue Burglary

Police say they solved a home burglary at 1529 W Cherry Ave. by detaining two youths a 15 year old and a 12 year old. The juveniles were turned over to juvenile authorities Wednesday and reside in the same neighborhood as the victimized property.
