April 1970 weddings at Lompoc and Calvary Church

Calif Federation of Women's Clubs to Convene 65th Annual Meeting

The California Federation of Women’s Clubs will hold its 65th annual convention May 4–7 at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Universal City with state president Mrs. Edward D. Wylie officiating. Delegates from across the state, including Tierra Adorada District president Mrs. William Boone and conservation chair Mrs. Peter Panaro, will attend. Events include USA awards at the Star Galaxy luncheon, four 1970 WCA scholarships, OSA awards, and tours to NBC studios and Universal Studios. Guests include George Putnam and Mrs. Earley Brown, with local hosts led by Mrs. G. Ray Sherwood and coordinators.

On Monday night April 27 Chapter 1413 at the Moose Home 921 W Laurel Ave will present a green cap program led by junior graduate regent Mrs William Milbourne.
